How do I become a model or talent?

Divine Model Agency is always on the lookout for new talent, and we encourage any interested individuals to fill out our online form and send it back to us, and we will get back to you as soon as we can if we feel you match the requirements of our clients and business partners.

Do I need to pay any fees to apply?

Divine Model Agency never charge fees of any sort for applications to be a part of our talent roster, and there should never be any fees charged for you to apply anywhere.

Do you have any open recruitment or casting calls?

There are certain periods of the year that Divine Model Agency will implement a recruitment drive campaign, which is usually around the time of the start of the summer period, so interested people may submit their details at the time of the campaign. But generally speaking, we accept applications all year round.

Do I have to be skinny to be a model?

No. Divine Model Agency recruits all types of diverse talent, as our clients have many different requirements. Our agency does not actively encourage our talent to lose weight to book jobs.

Do I need professional photographs?

Divine Model Agency does not require applicants to have professional photos, especially for those who are starting out in the industry, but it would be ideal in the long run as this will increase your chances of being selected for jobs by clients on a regular basis. We prefer to see fresh and natural shots that any family member or friend can take with a camera or smartphone. However, once applicants get started are booked regularly, it is highly recommended that they create a composite card to submit for jobs, which is the industry standard.

What is a composite card?

A composite card (Comp card for short) is a marketing tool for talents, a card that has your photo and basic information on, such as height, weight and eye colour etc. Composite cards are used in the modelling industry as a business card when submitting for potential jobs and networking with industry people.

What if I don’t have any modelling experience?

Divine Model Agency understands that everyone has to start from somewhere. Beginners and fresh faces are what we are looking for, so don’t let your lack of experience stop you from applying to be part of our talent roster.

Do I need to stop my studies to be a model?

Divine Model Agency recognizes the importance of education and encourages applicants to prioritize their studies over everything else until they have completed their course. We take great care to tailor work schedules for all our talents that are still studying around school and summer holiday periods.

How much notice do I get for job bookings and auditions?

Divine Model Agency will endeavour to give our talent as much notice as possible. However, with the fast-paced nature of the modelling industry, there are times where our clients will require talent to audition or accept a job booking at short notice.

Can I bring relatives or friends to auditions?

For any talent that is under 18 years of age, it is usually required that they bring 1 parent along with them. For those who are over 18 years of age, it is advisable that they do not bring friends or relatives to auditions, as it is not considered professional.

When and how much will I be paid?

Our talents are normally compensated after the booked job has been completed and the client has transferred the funds into our Company account. Payment for each booked job varies, depending on the client’s budget. Talents will be given full details of the job and remuneration package and can decide whether to accept or reject the offer.

Can I become an elite supermodel?

While Divine Model Agency wishes nothing but success for all of our talents, becoming an elite supermodel takes years of hard work and a little bit of luck along the way. We encourage our talents to gain as much experience with us and build up their job experiences and portfolio and go from there, as anything is possible.
