Divine Model is to redefine beauty standards, regardless of societal norms or expectations, and to help models recognize their inherent worth and beauty. We encourage models to embrace the qualities and diversity that God has given them and to be inclusive of different cultures. We believe that true beauty goes beyond external appearances and is determined by the qualities of the heart and soul (1 Peter 3:3-4). While showcasing the outer beauty of models, Divine Model also emphasizes inner beauty, authenticity, and character. We reject the concept of body shame and instead advocate for self-acceptance, confidence, and empowerment. We prioritize the health and well-being of our models, ensuring that they feel supported, respected, and valued at every step. Our company is not just a business institution; we also care about the well-being of our models.
At Divine Model, we believe in supporting the holistic well-being of our models. As part of our commitment to their growth and development, we offer free Alpha courses to help them understand the purpose of life and provide pre-marriage counseling through Alpha. We recognize the importance of addressing spiritual and emotional aspects of life alongside their modeling career.

Divine Model - Our Story
Welcome to Divine Model, a place where beauty meets purpose. Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur Toby Tao, our agency believes in embracing diversity and empowering individuals to shine in the modeling industry. Our journey has been guided by the grace and wisdom of God, shaping our purpose and values every step of the way.
Background of the CEO
Toby Tao, the founder of Divine Model, was nurtured in a Christian school, where she imbibed fundamental Christian values that would shape her character and guide her path. The teachings she received in this nurturing environment cultivated seeds of love, compassion, integrity, and inclusivity within her heart.
Why It All Began
It all started with a dream. Toby, inspired by her own aspirations to become a model, pursued her passion with determination. However, during a casting, she encountered the narrow standards of the industry, being told she needed to lose weight to be considered. This experience led her to question why her dream was being hindered by societal expectations. At that moment Toby's realization to create a platform that accepts and celebrates all sizes, shapes, and ages, including gray hair models and plus-size models, is truly commendable. In the eyes of God, every individual is fearfully and wonderfully made, and our worth is not determined by society's narrow standards of beauty.
In the Bible, it is written in Psalm 139:14, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." This verse reminds us that our unique characteristics, including our gray hair or curves, are part of God's wonderful creation. God values each person, regardless of their appearance or age, and calls us to love and accept one another just as He loves and accepts us.
2012
Divine Model Takes Flight
In 2012, Divine Model was born. Initially, we began by working with promotion girls, leading a team of ten models for street promotions. It was a challenging endeavor, but the joy and satisfaction of receiving our first payment from a client fueled our determination. We felt blessed, as if God had surrounded us with angels to support and guide us along this path. Such as Maje, Star cruise, Tramways HK. With each project, our agency grew, gaining recognition for our commitment to inclusivity and professionalism.
2017
Expanding Horizons - Macau Branch
In 2017, Divine Model spread its wings and opened a branch in Macau. Collaborating with prestigious entities such as the City of Dreams and the Macau Tourism Board, we embarked on exciting trade show events and video shootings. Each opportunity allowed us to showcase the talent and diversity that makes our agency truly special.
2019
Giving Back to the Community
In 2019, we felt a calling to give back to the community that had supported us throughout our journey. Understanding the importance of nurturing young talent, we began visiting universities and high schools, offering career talks and sharing our experiences. We initiated training classes, providing aspiring models with essential skills including talent development, model comcard shooting, poses training, and catwalk lessons. Our goal was to empower individuals to pursue their dreams with confidence and grace.
2021
Strengthening Faith and Embracing God as Father
In 2021 Toby attends the Alpha Course to strengthen her faith in God. Through this program, she explores the foundations of Christianity and develops a deeper understanding of God's love and grace. Toby declares God as her Father and embraces her identity as a child of God.
2022
Celebrating 10 Years in 2022
In 2022, Divine Model celebrated its 10th anniversary. We organized a series of special events to express our gratitude for the support of our long-term partners. The events not only showcased the talents and diversity of our models but also emphasized our commitment to social responsibility.
